French Bulldog Jewelry Box

I found this old box while cleaning the house. I sanded and primed it and then painted this cute little Frenchie on it. I lined the box with brown felt. It now has a new life and purpose. I guess that sort of was a "green" thing to do. It is on Ebay at this time with a very low starting bid.

Fall Frenchie

Frankie loves autumn leaves. As soon as she sees a freshly collected pile of leaves on the street she dives in and buries herself in all their beautiful colors. (She also loves to bury herself in the fresh, warm laundry, but that wouldn't have made for a nice collage :) I have this collage listed on Ebay at this time. I have decided to start my listings at $ 0.99 to give everyone a chance to participate. I am going to list two more paintings today and more are on the way, please check back often!

Frenchies in My Head...

I have so many ideas in my head that I worked all weekend and yet still feel like I've so much left to do. I posted three new paintings on Ebay and I think I will try to post more on Etsy tomorrow, if I can tear myself away from the paint brush. Here's a little sample of the French Bulldogs I have been working on.

more fabric French Bulldog paintings...

I have been very busy painting, I cannot seem to stay away from my little studio and my treadmill is starting to gather dust... But I have two more paintings to share. I am very happy with the way they turned out. Perhaps I will send them on to Ebay soon for adoption.

Plush And Cuddly Things...

When you were little, did you ever wish that your favorite teddy bear was alive? Sometimes, when I look at my Frenchie, I think my dream has finally come true. I love panda bears and my sweet Frankie looks a little bit like a mini panda bear. I combined the sweet cuddly look of a teddy bear with that unique Frenchie charm and thus this little character was born! I love this little pose so much that I am going to create a few paintings and incorporate it in my collage. I have some finished already and more I am working on at the moment. Here is a little taste of what's to come.

New Frenchie Collage

I have been very interested in doing a collage and incorporating the French bulldog theme, of course. At first it seemed very challenging to me to maintain that Frenchie cuteness and integrating it with the elements of collage. I went to see my Mom and out of her treasure chest filled with vintage laces, fabric scraps, and such-- I unearthed what I have been looking for. I flew home inspired with a vision I could not wait to bring to life. After getting my share of Frenchie kisses and hugs I set out to work. I have many paintings finished and some in progress, I will share just a couple of pieces for now...

Little Frog...

I have been working on a lot of paintings lately, but am not ready to share them yet. Yesterday, Frankie, Brucie and I went to the lake to soak up some sunshine and today they are both resting. I am back to work, however, I have so many exciting ideas I cannot wait to try. But for now, here is a little painting I finished earlier this week.

French Bulldog Art for Sale on Ebay

I have been busy experimenting with different styles and themes for my paintings. And it occurred to me that it has been in front of me all along -- my little muse. She brings smiles and joy to my life every day and if I could capture some of that in my art, I could share that joy with others. I am going to be listing many paintings on Ebay in the near future. I have two for sale at this time, search Dasha on Ebay to find them.
