The wings on this little fairy are painted are iridescent and change color depending on the light source. This little Frenchie painting is 10 inches x 10 inches (25.25cm x 25.25cm). Sold.
Here are some photos of the two sculptures I am working on right now. One is about the scale of a little Frenchie puppy and the other is of an adult French Bulldog. Both sculptures are almost complete. They have to dry and then they get fired in my kiln at about 1800 degrees F. Then I apply the glazes and fire them again, this time to about 2100 F. I cannot wait to finish these French bulldog sculptures!
You know you are guilty...he has all the toys in the world and you keep bringing him more. (Sometimes his favorite toy is not a toy at all, but an empty water bottle or a dirty sock ;) Discipline. What discipline? Just look at that face, the only punishment he knows is too many kisses! He is a mamma's boy...
You know that face Frenchies make, that look you just cannot resist. They are masters of persuasion. Not only can my Frankie get her way when she makes that face, she also gets lots of kisses on top...its simply irresistible!
I love dressing my little Frankie up. I am still looking for a wonderful pink tutu to fit her little athletic boody into...but until then, here is a little something I dreamed up...
This is my first ceramic French Bulldog sculpture. I just got this old kiln and had my fingers crossed hoping it would work. This kiln is much older than I am but it still works great! I fire my sculptures to 2100+ degrees Fahrenheit. This is the first in a limited edition of French bulldog sculptures. This Frenchie figurine is 3 1/8 inches tall to the tip of its ear. I am working on more ceramics and learning...
I am a full-time artist. My little Frenchie girl, Frankie, is my world. She brings smiles and joy to my life every day and if I could capture some of that in my art, I could share that joy with others.
I'd love to hear from you. Email: frenchbulldogworks@gmail.com
